Gray's on tour

On one of the days we decided to do a bus tour. Of all the names the buses could of been called.... Yep their called Gray's :D. I think it cost us $120 which i thought was a bit steep! But in pounds its nearly half that. Word of advice if you do go on one of these tour buses watch out for the low branches or you may get hit in the face!!.

This Loop takes you to some of the most romantic sights in New York and to a world of cultural diversity - from famous museums and churches to the vibrant neighborhoods of Harlem....

Stops include:
  • Central Park West
  • Lincoln Center
  • Dakota Apartments
  • American Museum of Natural History
  • Cathedral of St. John the Divine
  • Grant's Tomb
  • Apollo Theater
  • Harlem Market
  • The Museum Mile
  • Guggenheim Museum
  • Metropolitan Museum
  • Central Park and Fifth Avenue

I did enjoy the bus tour, you get to see allot and maybe more than what you would by foot!.

Baby You're A Firework

Here are a few pictures from bonfire night at Hertford Heath and some i took when we did ours in the garden.

The fireworks always draws a big crowed and its nice to see all the people on the village get together. First they light the bonfire then near the end they let the fireworks off. We always have fireworks in our garden, always reminds me of my Nan. We had some of the family over so was a nice evening :)

Queensbror Bridge

We was lucky enough that our hotel was a short walk from this bridge. Its beautiful. We walking about five minutes and found a spot where we could see down the river and it also looks onto long island. You can get a cable car along side the bridge. We was also lucky enough that from the top floor of the hotel had the most amazing view of the bridge. At night time it just looks so pretty with all the lights.
